Who is H. Doodle?

H. Doodle is a small dog boutique that was inspired by and named after our pug Henry. When Henry was a pup, we started to call him "Hank." Shortly after, we playfully called him "Hanky Doodle" and we would sing the song Yankee Doodle to him substituting his nickname in of course. Out of all of this silliness the nickname "Doodle" was born and it stuck. We use the nickname "Doodle" so much that Henry answers to both "Henry" and "Doodle" equally as well.

So, it was only natural for us to name our little shop H. Doodle. The "H" is Henry's first initial, and in this case Doodle, is Henry's surname.

H. Doodle officially opened for business in October 2006. At H. Doodle, we are "dog people!" We love to meet other dog owners and we have a passion for finding unique toys, treats and clothes that we can share with other dog lovers.

H. Doodle's main goal is to offer high quality, unique dog items to small dog owners at reasonable prices with great customer service. There is a special bond between dogs and dog owners and H. Doodle strives to bring you products that will not only strengthen the bond between you and your dog, but that will also bring a smile to your face and make your little one's tail wag!
