Gardening - What plants are safe for pets?

For all those with green thumbs, springtime is the perfect time to get out in the yard, enjoy the beautiful weather and plant gorgeous flowers.  While flowers add a lot of charm to the house, if you have a furry friend romping around the yard you may want to make sure that the flowers in the garden are safe for Spot if he decided to nibble on a few of the plants.  The ASPCA Animal Poison Center has compiled a list of common flowers and plants that are toxic to pets.  The list not only includes the plant name but it also list the most common side effects your dog or cat will experience if they eat the plant.
