Super Tuesday goes to the dogs

Today is Super Tuesday and within all the political commentary that abounds today, I stumbled across a few articles that are all about our pooches.

DogTime takes a look a look at the first dogs throughout history and talks about the four-legged friends of the current presidential hopefuls.

John Woestendiek, the blogger behind the Mutts blog on the Baltimore Sun website, started the series, “The Dog Lovers’ Guide to the Presidential Election” that answers the question, “If the presidential candidates were dogs, what breed would they be?” Here is what the Mutts blogger came up with:

• Barack Obama - Great Dane
• Hillary Clinton - Labradoodle
• Mike Huckabee - Beagle
• Mitt Romney - Smooth Fox Terrier
• John McCain - Pug

Just remember, whether your pup is a Republican or a Democrat we have them covered this election year with our political party dog collars available for both Republicans and Democrats.
